Riding a motorcycle to the magnificent vista of Mount Kailash is an experience of a lifetime!
This 12-day journey transports you to the isolated, tranquil surroundings of Lapcha Syar in the Humla region from the busy streets of Kathmandu. Discover hidden valleys, meet amiable people, sample organic Himalayan cuisine, ride through the varied landscape of western Nepal, and get a close-up look at the revered Mount Kailash without going over the border. An ideal blend of nature, culture, and excitement!

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will transfer you to your hotel. Evening trip briefing and gear check.

Day 2: Ride from Kathmandu to Butwal (260 km / 150m)

Begin your motorbike journey westward via the scenic Prithvi Highway and Terai plains.

Duration: 7–8 hours ride

Day 3: Ride to Surkhet (277 km / 600m)

Continue through lowland forests and farmlands toward Karnali Province’s gateway town of Surkhet.

Day 4: Ride to Samnighat (178 km / 1,200m approx.)

Day 7: Ride to Dukling (85 km / 3,700m)

Ride through alpine valleys, yak pastures, and remote hamlets on your way into Limi Valley. Set up camp in a beautiful wilderness setting.

Day 8: Ride to Lapcha Syar Viewpoint (4,500m) and return to Dukling (3,700m)

Day 9: Ride to Til (4,100m) and continue to Halji (3,660m)

  • Kathmandu to Surkhet: You’ll stay in comfortable tourist-standard hotels with modern amenities such as hot showers, private rooms, and internet access.

  • Samnighat to Simikot: Accommodation will be in basic guesthouses or local homestays, offering clean bedding, traditional Nepali meals, and warm hospitality.

  • Remote Areas (Lapcha Syar, Dukling, Hilji):
    Since these regions lack permanent teahouses or lodges, camping is the primary option. We provide tented accommodation with sleeping gear and essential camping facilities. Our team ensures hygienic meals prepared by a dedicated cook using local organic ingredients, providing comfort and safety in these remote Himalayan areas.

Camping in these untouched regions offers an immersive experience, letting you connect deeply with nature and the sacred landscapes surrounding Mt. Kailash.
