Expand AllArrival in Kathmandu - Transfer to Hotel and Trekking Information
Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will meet with our representative and be taken directly to your hotel located in the city’s center. After checking in, take this opportunity to rest and recuperate from your travels.In the evening, we will have an extensive trek briefing regarding what to expect along the route, the risks of altitude, safety precautions and gear inspection, as well as what to do to best prepare yourself both mentally and physically for your upcoming Everest adventure.
Overnight: Hotel Kathmandu
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (UNESCO World Heritage)
After breakfast on this day, your guide will take you around to visit several of the UNESCO sites located in Kathmandu Valley to give you a better understanding of Nepal’s spiritual and historical heritage.
Pashupatinath Temple – a sacred site of cremation for Hindus.
Boudhanath Stupa – the most important religious site for Tibetan Buddhists.
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) – an excellent place to take in the views of the valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square – royal palaces and temples.
Visiting these sites on the day before heading into the Himalayas will enhance your knowledge of Nepal.
Overnight: Hotel Kathmandu
Depart from Kathmandu; Fly to Lukla. Phakding Trek (2,652 m)
Take a very short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (approx. 30-35 minutes). Experience breathtaking views of the Himalayas with towering white peaks and deep valleys during your flight/
Once you arrive at Lukla, you will start hiking toward Phakding where you will encounter various Sherpa villages, including some prayer wheels, mani stones, and pine forests as you descend gently down the Dudh Koshi River.
Trek From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
When you arrive at Monjo, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and after a long steady uphill climb, you will arrive at Namche Bazaar, the lively Sherpa center of commerce and capital city of the Everest region.
Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
Take a day off today to allow your body to acclimatize to the effects of high altitude. This is vital for you to adjust properly to the lack of oxygen.
While at Namche Bazaar, you will have the option to hike to different areas of the town. Some suggestions are the following:
Trekking From Namche Bazaar to Khumjung Through Syangboche (3880m)
Trekking Up Hill to Syangboche Allows You to Experience Amazing Views of The Himalayas.
Continue trekking onto Khumjung which is One of the Oldest Sherpa Villages. Khumjung Is the Home of The Khumjung Monastery That Holds the Legendary Yeti Scalp. This Quiet Village Provides You with An Insight into Traditional Sherpa Life.
Khumjung to Phakding
From Khumjung Village, the trek will lead you back down through Namche Bazaar, retracing the same route to Phakding. On your descent, enjoy beautiful views of nature’s magnificence including lush valleys, snow-capped mountains, pristine rivers, and quaint settlements.
There will be some gentle downhill trekking to allow your body ample time to relax after the physical exertion on this day.
Phakding to Lukla (2,840 m)
This day you will return to Lukla from Phakding. The hike is relatively easy; it allows you to contemplate your experiences on this journey and boast about all you’ve accomplished during your trekking adventure with your guides and porters.
Fly Lukla to Kathmandu
Early morning, we flying back to Kathmandu. They are offering us one last opportunity to see the Himalayan range.
When we land at Kathmandu, we will transfer to our hotel. You will have the rest of today to shop, spa treatments, or rest.
Tonight, we will sleep at a hotel in Kathmandu and tomorrow we will enjoy breakfast.
Depart Kathmandu
Depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport to continue your journey.

Firante Treks and Expedition Manages for best and comfortable accommodation and also provides you hygienic food. Standard (3 Star) are booked in the cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, whereas a tyical trek lodge will be booked on remote areas.
Luxurious rooms from 5 Star hotels are also made avaiable on demand in the cities on additional cost but remote regionss dont have such facilities.
