The Heart of Tibetan civilization Tour 8 Days
This Tour covers Tsedang and Samye, the ancient capital of Tibetan Kings, from where the Tibetan civilization once flourished. We will visit the first building built in Tibet (Yongbulagong) and the ancient Tombs of former Tibetan Kings. En route to Lhasa we will stop at the famous Monastery (Mindoling) of Samye. After a two days sightseeing tour within Lhasa, we make a day trip to Ganden (Ganden Monastery) at 40 km east from Lhasa. Ganden surely is one of the most spectacular sites of Tibet. Built in 1490, it once was the residence of over 4000 monks. This tour departs on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Kathmandu. The tour can be commenced from mainland China (Chengdu and Beijing) too

Early in the morning scenic drive to Kerung Border (Nepal-Tibet Border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration, an hour adventurous uphill drive by Bus & Van (normally) or 2 hour walks uphill (in case of landslide to Chinese immigration, check-in to hotel or Continue drive to Kerung. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Kerung - Tingri (4300m) / Lhatse

Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world. from where, weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt Cho Oyu (8201 M) & Mt Xishapagma (8012M) but dwarfed by the Vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From TINGRI, one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848 M). Stay overnight at Guest House.
Tingri/Lhaste - Xigatse

Continue scenic drive crossing Over Gyatchu La (5,220M), the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to Mt Kailash bifurcates to the west. Stay overnight at hotel.
Xigatse - Gyantse
Xigatse – Gyantse (3,950m): 90 Km
Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Stay overnight the Hotel.
Gyantse - Lhasa
Gyantse – Lhasa (3,650m): 261 Km
Full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5,010m), Kambala (4,749m), Colorful Yamdrok-Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo) – Stay overnight at Hotel.

Firante Treks and Expedition Manages for best and comfortable accommodation and also provides you hygienic food. Standard (3 Star) are booked in the cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, whereas a tyical trek lodge will be booked on remote areas.
Luxurious rooms from 5 Star hotels are also made avaiable on demand in the cities on additional cost but remote regionss dont have such facilities.
