The Heart of Tibetan civilization Tour 10 Days
This Tour covers Tsedang and Samye, the ancient capital of Tibetan Kings, from where the Tibetan civilization once flourished. We will visit the first building built in Tibet (Yongbulagong) and the ancient Tombs of former Tibetan Kings. En route to Lhasa we will stop at the famous Monastery (Mindoling) of Samye. After a two days sightseeing tour within Lhasa, we make a day trip to Ganden (Ganden Monastery) at 40 km east from Lhasa. Ganden surely is one of the most spectacular sites of Tibet. Built in 1490, it once was the residence of over 4000 monks. This tour departs on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Kathmandu. The tour can be commenced from mainland China (Chengdu and Beijing) too

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m). Our team will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After check-in, you can rest. In the evening, you are free to walk around local market or relax after your long journey.
Kathmandu -Kerung Border (2750m)
Kathmandu -Kerung Border (145 Km) 06-07 hours drive
Early in the morning scenic drive to Kerung Border (Nepal-Tibet Border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese and Chinese immigration, an hour adventurous uphill drive by Bus & Van to Kerung town. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Kerung - Tingri (4300m) / Lhatse
Kerung – Tingri (4300m) / Lhatse (4,350m): 225 Km/244 Km
Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world. from where, weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt Cho Oyu (8201 M) & Mt Xishapagma (8012M) but dwarfed by the Vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From TINGRI, one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848 M). Stay overnight at Guest House.
Tingri/Rongbuk - Shigatse
Tingri/Rongbuk – Shigatse (3,900 M): 340 Km
Continue the scenic drive to Everest Base Camp, visiting the iconic Rongbuk Monastery along the way. After spending time taking photos at Everest Base Camp, drive back to Shigatse. The distance from Tingri to Shigatse via Rongbuk is approximately 340 km.
On the return journey, cross Gyatso La Pass (5,220 m), the highest pass en route, and enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes along the way.
Shigatse - Gyantse
Shigatse – Gyantse (3,950m): 90 Km
In the morning, we visit the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhunpo Monastery, one of the largest and most important monasteries in Tibet, known for its stunning architecture and rich spiritual history. After breakfast, we drive to Gyantse visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Stay overnight the Hotel.
Gyantse - Lhasa
Gyantse – Lhasa (3,650m): 261 Km
Full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5,010m), Kambala (4,749m), Colorful Yamdrok-Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo) – Stay overnight at Hotel.

Accommodation
Firante Treks and Expedition Manages for best and comfortable accommodation and also provides you hygienic food. Standard (3 Star) are booked in the cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, whereas a tyical trek lodge will be booked on remote areas.
Luxurious rooms from 5 Star hotels are also made avaiable on demand in the cities on additional cost but remote regionss dont have such facilities.
