Tibet Autonomous Region or Tibet is one of the most spiritually significant places in Asia. Tibet is also called the “roof of the world” for its towering peaks. Located in the southwest of China, also bordering India, Nepal, Myanmar, and Bhutan, it is situated on the highest desert plateau with an average elevation of 4,572meter.

The spectacular view of Himalayas, the sacred Mount Kailash, Highest train in the world Qinghai-Tibet railway, first monastery Samye, Worlds highest monastery at Rongbuk, first palace Yumbulagang and the largest saltwater lake Namsto Lake e.t.c are the attraction for tourists.

The Potala Palace in Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region is the main attraction which is also the ancestral home of the Dalai Lama. Similarly, there are many other popular tourist destinations in Shigatse, Shannan, Ngari, Nagchu and Nyingchi and Qamdo prefecture. Each Prefecture has its own features to be offered for travelers.
